  • Visitor Visa for my sister-in-law

    Hello,

I'm planning to invite my sister-in-law to visit us in the U.S. She is 25 years old and married. She is employed. I want to know how to apply visitor visa for her? Do I need to submit the following documents

    1)invitation letter to the Consulate,
    2) I-134,
3)invitation letter to my sister in law

Or should she apply visitor visa by her self and can she tell the visa officer that she is coming to visit us ?

    Please provide some suggestions.

It all depends on her /her husband's income. If they earn very well, she should apply on her own and show self funding. Which is always recommended . In that case
you need not send any I-134. Only send an invite to her and a copy of your visa.
