  • For sponsoring, original docs needs to be couriered or jus scanned copy is enough?

My husband is sponsoring for my dad nd mom.
    1. whether we need to send them the original copies of all the docs(all the letters, I-134 etc)? or just they can scanned copy is enough for them?
    2. And for the property docs, whether my parents needs to show the originals or jus the photocopy of the property docs is enough?

    Please guide.

I-134 is always required in original. May as well send everything by mail/courier.

The trend these days is that they rarely look at any documents.
That said, it is prudent to carry originals, just in case .

Thanks for the reply. I have some doubts, for the below questions what shud they ans for it. (Note: My husband is sponsoring visa for my parents)
      1. "do u have any relative in US"?
      2. Single I-134 is enough for both of them ( dad and mom) or each shud have separate?
      3. Similarly for Employment letter. single letter is enough or we have to send them 2?
      4. Is it required to get Affadavit of Income for my dad?

        1. Sorry, it is obvious they must mention you -daughter. any other immediate relatives ( spouse, children ,siblings and parents) must be mentioned.
There is another question for other relatives ( other than immediate) -- cousins, uncles, aunts etc.
        2. For spouse and children they can be mentioned in one. I-134 has columns for a principal applicant and then spouse and children.
        3. You mean your husband's employment letter. Only one is enough . They will be appearing in one interview.
        4. There is no affidavit required. He can just take proof of his income . Salary slip/tax return .

By the way what does ur dad do and what is his income roughly?
