B2 - Visitor Visa for Parents

Hi ALL,

My parents are going for the Visitor Visa (B2) in Hyderabad, India

They have completed their bio-metrics last week and they are attending the interview in couple days.

What is procedure like, will anybody collect the supporting documents I have sent in the beginning of the visa interview process?

At the visa counter when called for, will they only be giving their passports, if any additional documents along with passports (before the Visa Oficer asks for) are to be provided what would they be ?
Can anybody please mention their past experience.

Most supporting documents will be only need to be provided if asked for. They should properly arrange the documents into a folder so that they can be produced quickly.

So basically they will only need to give their passports at the window when called in and wait for the Visa Officers request on additional documentation. Is that correct?

One of Consulate office supporting staff generally collect passports from them and issue a token for their counter. So its just they need to sit in the waiting hall for their token turn and appear for interview. All the best !

B1 & H4 visa travel.

I have a query regarding B1 & H4 visa travel.

Can H4 accompany B1 visa when travelling to US?
My wife has got H1B and now she is in US. My son has got H4 and I have B1.
Now I am travelling to US in B1 for 2 months, can I take my son along with me? Please suggest
