Departure Date Stamp within 3 months after Arrival in US?

Hi,
My Parents came here for my wedding.They arrived in April,2013. The Port of entry Stamp was done by the same officer. My Dad has a July 9, 2013 departure stamp whereas my Mom has an Oct 2013 stamp. Unfortunately, it was noticed today. What can be done in this scenario!

You mean your dad was given 3 months, and your mom 6? Hmm, well you can try to make an infopass appointment for them both and point out the difference (when are they flying out?), or your dad will have to leave earlier.

Infopas has nothing to do with this. Your Father can apply for an extension or leave before his I-94.

Yes...my dad has 9th july departure date on i-94....they say we need to apply for an extension 45 days prior...my concern is if its too late...also if v hav a receipt for the extension filed application...is it valid to be in the country?
