B2 VISA for parents - Please help.

Hi,

I recently got married in India but did not get time to get the marriage certificate created there. Also i filed my this year's income tax as single in US. My wife also works in US ans she has also filed income tax as single.
Now , i am applying for visitor VISA (B2) via a travel agency for my father. He is scheduled for interview soon.
My question is, if at the interview VO asks him a question that whether his son is married or not, what should he answer? Considering we don't have any proof of marriage with us.

He should tell the truth. They won't ask for YOUR marriage proof for his visitor visa. that is totally irrelevant.
