Visitors Visa Appointments Availability

Hi,
How frequently would the Visa appointment calendar would be reloaded with the availability status for any of the cancelled appointments. Any information regarding this wud be of great help. Because my mothers visa got rejected very recently and i want to reapply for her as soon as possible, but unfortunately none of the dates were available. I heard one of my friend had cancelled her parents visitors visa appointment which is scheduled sometime in September, due to unavoidable situation. But that date is not seen as available. I am keeping track on this availability but could not find that status. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Hi Tejaswini,
From Aug 24, TTS has changed the system such that cancelled appointments will be recaptured and used for emergency only visas and will not be made available for rebooking. They have also eliminated the option to modify an existing appointment. This is due to scam going on in blocking the dates for money.
Would you be able to call up TTS and ask them if they have another way for second timers?

Did any one booked an appt. before December recently? If yes, can you let me know at what timings you are trying to look for appts.

I read on TTSvisas that all the cancelled appts. will be recaptured for emergency only and i can see open slots for emergency appts.

hi can you blv some thing, yesterday morning, I checked with tts, till january 18th, all the dates were full, and at night time around 9, some dates in novermber and so many dates in dec were available,
it booked two appointments, one for me one for my friend, B1 status, at Delhi,
I booked 28 nov and second I booked 5 dec
I again checked this morning, so many dates were available in dec,
pls keep checking so many time in day or night, you will get dates in nov or dec

Can you tell me at what timings did you checked for dates?

9pm is IST or EST?

Is there any specific timings that you have followed to check for dates?

I just checked with ttsvisass.com, two date 21 n 22nd dec are available

well I booked at about 9 at night indian time.

you should keep checking after every hours, if you can, you will get some good date

I just checked now. There are many dates open in Nov 2005. Wouldn't last long.

Even I checked at 7.30 am EST for an appt. in telugu at chennai consulate.

I didnt see any open slots.I checked at 7.30 am and 9.30 am...

Anyhow i will keep trying and will see if I find any appt.

Are you guys checking 'Yes' for emergency appointments, is that why you are getting openings before Feb?? I selected 'NO' for emergency appt, and hence not getting any openings. Please clarify

Hi all,
i wanted to share that I got an appt in sep at delhi.For the last 15 days I've been checking day and night for the dates and today finally I got the appt on 30 sep so my point is keep checking and I don't see any pattern,I think they just do it randomly.I would say u'll get it.

I have been trying for appointments @ Chennai consulate since Sep-3'05 & got one only in mid Feb'06. I've been checking very frequently since then for an earlier appt but no luck till now! As Sivap had asked, did u guys(B1visahelp & mahesh_lakhani) see those open slots when u selected "YES" for Emergency Appts?

No,I didn't check yes for emergency.I used to check any time but I would say check frequently between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM(USA ET)I'm suggesting this time because I saw open slot twice between this time(at Delhi).
