Bank Balance for UK Visitor Visa from US. Please Clarify.

Hi Friends,

I am in US on a L1B visa, and planning to go to UK for a 1-week vacation.
I have been in US for only 5 months so far.

Could someone please let me know the approximate bank balance that I have to show, to get the Visitor UK Visa?
Or, if i am applying for a sponsor Visa, how much balance should my sponsor show?

There is no such formal requirements. You should have enough money to sponsor your trip.
