Visitor Visa for Sister with family

Hi

My brother is in usa since last seven year and he is well setteled there with his family. I wish to visit him with my spouse and children (below 10 yrs). Can he sponser me for this .As I am a govt. employee here and my purpose of visit is genuine and for visit only. please advise me.

Even if your visit is genuine , sometimes they won't grant you a visa
because all of you are applying( they suspect that all of you may not come back, especially if your brother is there, he will help you settle there).

It will be better if your husband stays back and only you and kids apply.
This is a crucial point because they are looking for job and family ties to India
and your husband will act as a family tie.( you already have a job tie in the form of a govt. job). And you must time your visit with your kids' vacation.

If you can show good family income (both you and your husband's), and funds it will be better to show self-financing of the trip,
instead of getting a sponsorship affidavit(I-134) from your brother.f not,
get the affidavit. In both cases , get an invitation letter from your brother.
