    Copies of their visas , copy of H-1 petition of your son-in-law, an original invitation from them . If you are funding yourself, proof of your income, job/business if working.
    Proof of savings if retired. If they are funding, your son-in-law should send an affidavit of support I-134, bank statement, tax return.

        Income is important if you are working. Rs. 10-12 L/yr
        If retired, show savings Rs. 15-20 L. But I suggest if retired, ask for their sponsorship. Son-in-law earning $40000/yr or more should be fine.

          If I m working but not show the 10-15l/y. Then can I get sponsor from my son-in-law.

            Yes, If your income is less than 10 lacs, ask your son-in-law to sponsor you. But remember they will ask you about other children you have in India.
            If you do not have any children in India , it could be difficult to get the visa. But there is no harm in trying.

                Good then. If your son in India is earning very well >1L/month, you can also show he is funding. If not ,ask the US people to sponsor.

                Good luck.

                    Anyway, to answer your q;

                    It all depends on the officer. It can be anything from 6 months single entry to 10 yr multiple entry.
                    You will find out for sure only when you get the passport in your hand.
