    hi folks..
i am an IMG and married since a year..my husband and me are planning for CS xam and want to apply for the visa waiting for STEP 1 result..
he is a surgeon and m a graduate.
my sister and mother are in USA on permanent resident status..bt i am married in india and staying with my in laws.now i have few queries to ask..
    please help!!
1)for what visa shud we apply??
2)my father in law can sponsor us..or sould i get a sponsorship recommendation from my family in USA?
3)WE ARE PRESENTLY not working because of xam preparation... but by the time we apply for visa we will be joining somewhere so at that time do we need to tell the visa officers about our job??? what is preferable to tell that we are working or no??
4)is the delhi visa office more lenient with the CS visa takers and if so can i apply for the delhi office even if i belong to south??

To take CS ,the only visa is B1. Being young adults and married, you should not be getting funding support( sponsorship) from anyone.
It will be a negative for the visa application. Show that you guys are working ( being in a job is a very favorable thing as it tells the officer that
you will return after the test) and show that you will be funding the trip with your own money.
Just apply where you live. It does not make a large difference. No matter where you apply, you can get a strict officer or a lenient officer; all depending on
    your luck.

Having your sister and mother in US as PRs does not make you eligible for any other visa; immigrant or non-immigrant.
It does reduce your chances of getting a visitor visa for CS as the officers think you have people in US to help you settle down there.
So, to get your visa for CS it is important you have good scores in Step 1 and step2ck , preferably apply for cs after you have taken both
    the steps.

      hey thanx friend!
      so nice of you
      bt just have few queries...
as of now i am not working so whom should i show my sponserer?my husband?
and he is also working in his private setup so what proof we need to show to the interviewer about it?
also i wanted to know if i dont specify about my family in US,then would it be fine /not?
or if i dont specify about my exam and just going to meet family(which is a better option)?
do they come to know that we are an usmle applicant if we dont mention the purpose of going to USA?
      THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Yes, you can show your husband is paying for the trip. He can show a letter from the private facility that he is employed there and the salary
he is getting. If it is own practice not employment then he can show his tax returns for his income or bank statements with income credits. He should take his
        visiting card with him.

About relatives in US,you cannot omit that information , that will be visa fraud. And you must tell the truth about
the actual purpose that is step2 cs. They know you are young doctors so they can ask you indirect questions about USMLE and
come to know if you are hiding the actual purpose.
So, be honest with the officer.
If denied, one can apply again but if caught lying on major issues, penalty can be a permanent bar.
