Visitor visa for parents

Hi,
My husband (on F1 status) is applying for visitor visa t his parents. However, his F1 visa has expired but he holds I 20 valid till 2015.
Is he eligible to sponsor them? I am on H1B visa, I read somewhere that parental ties are considered stronger in case of sponsoring.
Though, I would be adding my information on DS-160.

Thank you for replying.
His course of study will end sometime in Aug 2014, however, he has I20 valid till 2015.
I am on H1b, can I sponsor them? I have also submitted visa application as a sponsor for my parents.
Will there be any issue if I sponsor my in laws as well?

he can invite them but cannot show their funding. because he is a student.
You have not mentioned if they can fund themselves because that would be favorable for their visa application.

If they cannot fund themselves,,the only option left is you funding. Yes, as an H1b, you can technically sponsor your in-laws
But success of their application will depend on officer's discretion.

Is it possible if my husband invites them and we show our common funds? I read in immihelp "guide to fill ds160" that married couple can show total savings.
I am inviting my parents, brother and his family. Is it possible to be able to invite my in laws as well?
