port of entry question???

Hi immihelp,

First of all thanks to all as my parents got visa on 22nd sept.

Have a doubt, now at port of entry will there be any problem for getting 6 months stay visa, my parents are flying to usa on snday midnight from india, will they give 6 months or 3 mnths visa.

Secondly in the customs form , what should they write in the food column as my mom is bringing some food items , so shld they mark yes or no, if they mark yes, they will have to got thru the other channel and open the bag etc.

So what do you advice

Pls reply , i will really appreciate as my parents are leaving on sunday

1. Everyone usually gets 6 months.
2. Don't bring any fruits, vegetables etc. If she is bringing things like spices, pickles etc, she can mark yes or no. Does not matter.
