Taking appoint through VFS

Has anybody been able to take appointment through VFS for Chennai consulate yet? My brother took the draft at HDFC bank in Delhi on Monday morning(India) time and looks like he has wait 2 days to make the appointment.
There were so many dates open till yesterday but lot are taken today already. Assuming some people took the draft on Sat, how can they filled up already (without waiting 2 days??)

I was looking at the scheduling website for the
interview dates for the tourist visa category for my
parents.

I looked at available dates on Sunday 02 October 2005.
There were a bunch of dates available in October.

Now that I see on 03 October 2005 morning only 4 dates
are remaining. I am very surprised at this.

According to the info they have, the interviews can be
scheduled 2 days after the fee is paid. My father
paid the fees on 03 October 2005. He was told to
start the process on 05 Oct 2005.

My questions are, how come the dates have changed
even before the 2 days have passed. ?

How reliable is the scheduling calendar ?

When can we expect the calendar to schedule become
more stable and reliable ?

For example in our case October 20th was available
when we saw on October 02 at 11:55 pm Atlanta time
(aka 09:25 hours in India on October 03).

Now that I am seeing the same calendar on October 03
at 08:40 hours Atlanta time (aka 18:10 hours in India
on October 03) the October 20th date is not available.

Please clarify how this works.

I think people who took appointments earlier through TTS must have moved their appointments to october. I think that is how the dates in october got filled up.

But if you check availability through TTS service, no dates are available for October. I wonder how people could have modified through TTS web site.
