Sponsoring tourist visa for a friend

Hi, I would like to sponsor my Indian friend to visit the US. He doesn't have job in India but has all his family and friends there

1. Can I scan and email the necessary documents to him (I-134, bank statements, pay stubs, letter from bank, letter of invitation, letter from employer, etc)- rather than send them by mail?

2. Also, I am an American citizen, born in America, and it wasn’t clear to me from your site if I need just one form of proof, or more than one. Can I just send a copy of the main page of my passport? Or do I need to send copies of all pages? And is just passport enough, or do I need to give other documents to prove I am American.

3. Also, is it better or worse to say that he is my boyfriend?

I am sorry, If he does not have a job and income, there is no use even trying . As they won't give it to him because
young , unemployed people are not likely to come back . Job, income are the most important things they look at for working age applicants.

They won't even look at the papers sent by you. It won't matter
that an american ( leave alone boyfriend) is sponsoring , in fact it will have the opposite effect.

So then what is the point of sponsorship?? Obviously I would be sponsoring because he himself can't afford it.

sponosorship does work in a few cases like children sponsoring their parents or uncles sponsoring kids like nephews /nieces.

At least the applicant should have a job/business to come back to.
