Parents visa rejected.. need immdt help..

Hi

My parents visited mumbai consulate and thier visa got rejected. I sent all the document which mentioned in immhelp.com nothing was missing. I ddont know why they rejected at this time... when my parents reach to gujarat i will discuss with them the reason. My wife is pregnant and we mention intention for visit is tourisum.. I need somebody with us for my wife pregnancy.
Please help me .. to undersntand what to do now ? what is way my parents visit immediately for another appoint ment. what all letter (senetor ) i need to send ? please help me .. please help me..
Can my parents now again request for another appointment ? what is procedure ? what need to do ? my wife condition is not good and required somebody .. my inlows does not have passport so my parents only can visit me.. please hlep me.. please.. please...

They should have mentioned the purpose as "going to visit our son"
and not tourism.And you can ask your parents in detail what other
qs they asked, there may be some other reason too. Anyway, let your mother apply alone the next time. You can check for the appointments

Thanks for your kind reply.. Is there any way to visit consulate without appointment ?
They have all document prepared as per this site. Aslo have sufficient funds worth of 25 lakhs. It seems they told reason is like not sufficent document from my side, but i remeber i sent all document without missing a single doc which mentioned in this site. My wife due date is jan 22 2005.

Sorry friend, cannot go for an interview without an appointment.
I guess you won't be able to get an appointment date in Jan.
Why are you so panicky? Plenty of women in this world deliver
babies without their parents or in-laws with them.
Try to face the situation like a real man and try to get some
help in the US.

His wife is having a baby. It is an Indian emotional thing. Not being a man or being a man is not the issue.

May be his wife is having a C section.
May be he is vegetarian with food in the hospital is horrible.
May be they have another elder one who needs to be looked after when they are having a baby.
May be he wants the confidence from his parents.

In this country also, getting parents and inlaws is a common thing.

So, please dont be rude to him man.

You seem to have lost sense of sensitivity. Delivery is not trivial matter. If proper care is not taken and without elder's guidance, a woman could have life long ailments like backaches and what not.

That person is asking for advice regarding how to deal with immigration not his/his wife's delivery. If you can answer him on that issue give hime answers and not give this crapy insensitive replies.

I did not mean to be rude nor insensitive. I fully understand
it is a trying time for a family expecting a baby. But what can you do? If
the power is out, you have to make do with a candle.
If his mother cannot get an appointment or the visa, he will have to find ways to handle things in the US; look for a domestic help or something.

Please call the contact no at the VFS website to enquire about the
personal appearance thing you mentioned, I am not aware of it I am sorry.

Really very very thanks for writing the kind worlds to support me.. now my question is.. I looked at online appointment, getting appointment in nov and jan. Is it ok if my parent visit again if they get appointment. Or they should not visit for atleat 6 months ?

6 months -- this is not true.
I seen people going week apart.
Make sure you do good documentation.

you said you need her in Jan . for the delivery , so let her try in Jan.
but she should try alone and not with your father. Let her say she
wants to go for 2-3 months and then she has to come attend to your
father too.

I can understand the feeling you are going through.
1)First talk to your parents & ask them what are the questions they asked at the consulate & make a judgement of why they would have rejected the VISA.
2) After indentifying the reason for rejection, see how you can fix it. Menatime fix an appointment for them.

My FIL got Visa recently. He was initially rejected in july 05.
Reason for rejection is insufficient documentation. I had not sent my old expired passport which had H1 Visa stamps, even though i had sent my green card copies. If you have brothers/sisters in india, ask thm to give letters saying that they are dependent on your parents

I spoke with my parents today... they got rejection due to 214(b). Can you please help me.. what to do now ? one agent told him that he can visit consulate without any prior appointment is it true ? i am sending the letter mentioned in immihelp.com. infact they have very very strong ties in india as my two unmarried sisters and one brother are in india and depandant on my parents.

214(b) is refusal due to potential immigrant reason. they have to go back with an appointment.

221(g) is for improper documentation. They can go back again without appt.
