Query about re-entry in the US on B2 visa

Hello

I am working in the US on my H1B visa. I brought my mother to the US on her B2 visa in January, 2014 and she has been granted a stay till June, 2014. I was wondering if she leaves in June, is there any certain period of time that she should stay outside the US before she can visit me here again? If yes, how much?

Also, if I apply for an extended stay for her and assuming she is allowed to stay for next 6 more months, once again I would like to know how much period she'll be required to stay outside the US before she can visit me again?

this is how it works;

there is no set time interval by law.

For casual purposes, In general, if she stays full 6 months , wait another 5-6 months .
a documented emergency is a different matter.

Full one year on an extension; wait out another 8-9 months.

If they see a person spending too much time in US , they usually admit her for a short stay
with a warning. If the person returns too quickly again,
they can cancel the visa and send the person back from the airport.
examples;
*spending one year ( regular 6 month stay + 6 month extension.) and then returning
in another 3 months.
* history of staying one year as above on every visit the last 2-3 times.

Frequent long stays also affect the renewal of the visa when the current one expires.
