Inviting parents - 2 DS 160s and 2 fee payments needed?

Hi,

As mentioned in the subject, I would like to know if I need to fill in 2 DS 160 forms for my parents even if both of them are visiting us together? Also, will they be appearing together for the visa interview or will they have separate interviews? Should I make two visa fee payments? Please clarify.
