B2 travel question on i94

Hi,
I'm planning to get my mother to US in May14. She has B2 visa, valid till 2019 and has earlier traveled thrice (nov'09- 3 months, jul'11 - 5 months, feb'13 - 5.5months). She has never over stayed before.

I have a work colleague from India who is traveling to US on B1 for a week and I plan to have my mom accompany him. She will stay here for 6 months. Question is : would she get 6 months stay on i94 if she travels with my friend who is staying for a week in US. She cannot talk in English hence my friend will communicate with the immigrations officer.

She will have following documents:
Return ticket
Invite letter from me
Visitor insurance
My bank statement+tax return documents.

no one can say for sure how much stay she will get ; it all depends on the officer. But your friend's B1 will have no effect on her granted stay.
In fact she can choose to go to the officer all by herself and present a note written on a paper " visiting son for 4 months; I do not speak English".
