Please do write to me and reply , its very imp

I got a 10 yr Multiple entry visa to US last year and did go ther for some time

Now i am back and recently got married toa GC holder, I liked the guy very much and dint want to reject just because he a GC and if we file a petition it would take 5 years for me to join

Now though we have some alternate palns can anuone tell that

1 Can i use my b1/ b2 and go and meet him asa non imiggrant and not file a GC petition
    2. or if we file a GC pettion for me will they alllow me entry at the port of entry ona b1 as its a non imigrant visa

    1. You could enter as long as you do NOT tell the guy at entry that
you have come to visit your GC husband.
2.NO. Once the petition is filed , they will have it on record and you
could be stopped at entry using a B1/B2 when you have a demonstrated
    immigrant intent.

normally usa (indian) people apply for fiancee visa after getting marrid to any indian girl or boy.
you can do the same, this way you can get visa for six month for sure. then you have to marry him in usa. this procedure is easy. once you marry with him, you are lable to apply for gc

        Mr Lakhani

You are confused. She is married already. No fiancee visa after marriage. I agree with what Pons1 suggests.

          Hi

          Hi every one

          thanks for ur replies

first yes as i already married so no fiancee visa also that works only for american citizens

now my question is still the same , as at this tim e my B1 /b2 is the only visa i have , i am reday to use it and for that i plan not to file for immigration

so now when u say they may staop me at port of entry if they check the records this is only when they file , but I will wait til he becomes a amerciacan citizen and not file for GC rather till the mean while i want to use the visitor visa

Now second point is even if i want to do this
than either i just dont tell them about my husband but than i am hiding facts

or tell them that yes i am married buit we are not filling any immigration

          what do u think

They don't ask everyone entering on a B1/B2 if you are married or single.
They only ask about purpose of visit and time of stay.
But can you keep entering and leaving on a B1/B2 till he becomes a citizen, it will take few years for that.

              yes

              thanks
yes i was also thinking the same that they may not ask me about my marriage and i may just enter know one last thing is that in case they ask than what should i do as of now i havent added my hubbys name in the passport so shouls i leave it like that and

also if they ask than should i tell them that yesd i am married and say that we are not planning for any imigration and would be leaving in other 3-4 mths which i will actually do so that we dont land up doing any thing wrong

Yes, you cannot lie if they ask.
But it will take a long time for him to become a citizen, so how
will you manage on a B1/B2 ? If you make too many trips to US
in a short period, they may get suspicious.

                  thanks

I understand if they ask i wont lie

also it still 3.5 yrs for him to be acitizen
but i dont think i would like to make many trips rather what we r planning is that in bw he also takes up a few projects outside US like UK or India and this way we just keep meeting , else these white house people have not left us with any options but to stay apart for 5 yrs

in this case will he not let me enter at the port of entry coz my hubby is GC or if i tell them that i am here for a short duration and we arent filling for immigration things would change
