Family Visit to US with B2 Visa - Gap required between consecutive trip

Hi

My parents are planning to visit to US next month on B2 Visitor visa, they have already visited us last year April 2013 and were here for 4 months (left US in July 2013), will their visit again within a years time create a issue, I am planning to have them here for 4-5 months.

Please let me know if this is going to have any issue at the immigration.

Is the interval measured from the time they left US (July 2013) or the time they last visited US (April 2013)?

They will be visiting again next month April.

it is not strictly "measured" . When you revisit US, they look at how much you stayed last time and the interval from when you left US.
There is no set duration but in general, if you are spending 6 months of pleasure visit you must stay about the same duration out of US.
So, one year of interval is very comfortable.
