question regarding translator

Hi!

my mother has an appointment (visitor visa) on 2nd nov 05. we took offline appointment in Mumbai. but we did not mention that she will need a translator(Hindi). what can we do now?
please answer me it will be a great help.

1>She can request for translator with consular officer, this only worked for some people. What if there is no translators available that time?

OR

2> Best way - Cancel the one you have and take a new one with native language.

If your mother know atleast some english then try 1st ONE.
