Spouse name not mentioned in passport

Hi friends,
I am travelling on B1 and my wife would like to accompany me on B2. I am her sponsor for the trip.

In both our passports, the spouse name is blank as our passports were obtained before marriage.

In such a case, would marriage certificate act as enough proof ??

Yes. They wi jot even ask for that. In your DS-160 do mention that you are married and provide all the correct details.
