Not accepting HDFC receipt

I got 2 receipts for my mom and dad on Saturday, 8-Oct. On VFS site it accepted my dad's receipt. But it is not accepting my mom's receipt. It keeps giving message-

i) Please check date of issue of Fee Receipt.
It is valid after 2 working days upto the 1 year from date of issue.
ii) Are you entering details of the Fee Receipt issued in your name?

What should I do in this case ? Any help please.

same case happened with my friend also. he took fee receipt for his wife and son. After couple of days, VFS website started accepting his son's info, but not his wife's. then he called up VFS and HDFC guys and told the situation.
after verification it was found that HDFC people screwed up and sent some wrong info of his wife to VFS. it was rectified after one week.
so..just call up HDFC bank and tell your situation.

I tried calling HDFC bank (Bangalore MG Road where I deposited the fee) several times... and HDFC folks they kept giving another phone number to contact saying they are in a different departments... Can you give me any specific HDFC number where your freind contacted them ?


It's all so frustrating... They do not know there bank is accepting US visa fees nowadays...
