Hi,
I recently graduated and started working full time. My parents and my brother are planning to come to USA for my graduation ceremony. I have already sent them a scanned copy of invitation letters from my university. I still have some doubts.
1. Is a photograph not mandatory now for DS160, since we book a separate appointment for the fingerprinting and photograph and the DS160 says photo will be taken at the ASC?
2. My brother is in final year of his undergraduate studies in hotel management, he has a job offer already. The problem is that his visit maybe for four days in between his practicals and final exams. So is it fine if I book his interview along with my parents (as a family application) whose stay will be longer than my brother. Also what are the chances of my brother getting a visa?
3. Reading the forum I came to know that it is better if my parents show themselves as sponsors as it increases the chances of acceptance. please correct me if I am wrong. Also should my parents be the sponsor for my brother also or should it be me?
My dad works for a private multinational and mom is a government employee.
I want to book an appointment by this weekend, a prompt reply will be much appreciated.
Thanks
