Visa rejected but no reason code

Hi all

My parents appeared for their visa interview in the month of July and they were rejected but there is no reason of rejection on their passports
There is only 1 stamp which states "Documents Received". They were told they will get the reason by mail at home
Its been 3 months and we havent heard back from the consulate

Has anyone else had such a problem and whom do we contact for knowing the exact reason

Any help would be appreciated !!

Did they receive any separate paper explaining the reason?

There are only 2 mains reasons: missing documents and potential immigrant. Must be potential immigrant.

Usually a denial slip showing the section under which the visa is denied is handed over to the applicant on the interview day.
If they have not received it, I guess somebody at the consulate missed it.

Ask your parents in detail what questions were asked and what answers
they gave and it is usually possible to find out why the visa was denied.

dont worry

when the visa is refused the counsellor will give the applicant a letter after checking on the reason for refusal.
as immihelp said there are two such reasons...214 and 221(i am not sure)

they dont send individual reasons for refusal.

you must re-apply asap...coz tht i think helps next time.

Seems like they have surely missed it at the consulate. Since they didn't get any paper at that time
