in-laws visa got rejected.. plz need suguessions

today my in-laws attended visitor visa at mumbai consulate, the VO asked
1. who will be there in US... my uncle answered
2. what you do? - my uncle answered ' agriculture'
3. how much fields do u have - my uncle answered 5 achrs

then he gave 214(b) and said ur visa denied.

what could be the reason for this?

and are they can re apply? if so how long needs to wait?

see what you write on the form is very important as they make their decision based on that.
not writing any personal income and showing funding by you and 4 month stay all combined gave the denial.

what is his annual income roughly?
