Is Retrun Ticket Mandatory for Visitor?

My Parents got 10 years Multiple entry VISA to USA. I am palling to bring them to USA in next 5 days. I would need your advise on this.
I have already booked One way ticket from India to USA however not booked the return ticket.

1. Is it mandatory to book the return ticket while starting the Journey?
2. Will it create any issue at India during Immigration?
3. Will it create any issue at USA POE?

The airlines , Indian immigration can stop you from boarding if you have a one way and a visitor visa.
Also at port of entry in US, they frequently ask you your return ticket to see if you have the intent to return and when.

So get a return ticket for a couple of months later and they should declare their duration of stay at the POE matching their return ticket.

When to book return ticket

My VISA is expiring on 10th Jul. Is it okay book parents return ticket after my VISA expiry date which is around 22th July 2014? I am the sponsoring the trip.

there is no binding on them to stay as per your allowed stay . In theory they can go around on their own as well.
But will you leave before your expiry date and if they will too, get the return ticket accordingly.
