  • Visitor Visa to USA (B2) for unmarried, young, working person in a government job.

    Hello,
I am 26 yr old male(unmarried) from Mumbai working at Bhabha Atomic Research Center. I wish to go to my uncle's place in New York for 15 days for tourism purpose. I am in a government job and previously I had received US visa on my official passport but could not go due to time crunch. This time I wish to go on my personal passport and I have applied for B2 visa. My trip will be sponsored by my uncle. We have collected all the required documents for this purpose.
But, after going through this forum I found out that it is very difficult to get Visa for young, unmarried people.

What are my chances of getting Visa this time ? Receiving Visa previously will help me in getting visa this time too ? If I face rejection this time then will it pose any problem to my future trips to US on official as well as on personal passports ?

you should post here before you apply. now that you have applied you cannot change anything so what is the point of asking.

Single , young people do get visas even for tourism purpose but their presentation and situation is different.
Rich people going with family (not alone) on their own funds having traveled frequently to other countries.

With your presentation , you will most certainly get a denial, I am sorry.

First of all , going ALONE for tourism all the way to US is wrong.
And that too on uncle's sponsorship means you cannot afford it yourself and he may help you settle there.
No documents will be looked at.

I do not know about official and personal passport travel but personal denial can affect your future visa so I suggest you
    cancel your current application.

Hi Sagesony, What was the result of your visa interview? I am curious to know.

I do not understand why a person staying in US can not sponsor visa to another person and why would it be 'wrong' to travel alone? I am curious to know what did you decide finally and what happened to your interview.
