Regarding wrongly filled DS-160 confirmation number for making visa payment

Hi admin,
I am in a deep trouble. While scheduling the appointment for visa interview, I somehow entered the wrong DS-160 confirmation number. Then I made the payment and it was accepted. But this I realized before scheduling the interview. So please guide me regarding what would happen to the fee I paid.

If you paid using credit card, you could ask the provider to hold your transaction. I don't know how it works with a debit card.

Me too in same trouble

I scheduled appointment for my father and mother, but I entered same DS160 confirmation number for both and payment is also done.
Interview is also scheduled.

How can I change the Ds160 confirmation number for my father and reschedule the appointment ?
Very urgent.
