  • Re entering at Port of entry

My inlaws came to USA on May5 2005 and I-94 was valid until Nov6th 2005. They left to India on Sep 5 2005(2 months prior to expiration of I-94). They were here for 4 months. They are planning to come again in November2005. Would there be any kind of problem at the port of entry as they are comming back in only 2 months gap?
Did anyone came across this kind scenario? Can anyone suggest me.. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. Arthi

    Re:Reentering at Port of Entry

Well, the question of allowing your in-laws at the port of entry is purely depends on luck.If they ask any question to your in-laws, they have to answer that they want to enjoy the fall climate of America since they do not have seen such climate in India or want to celebrate Christmus and New Year day with daughter.Good luck

If the person tries to spend too much time in US, they are not really tourists and they may be denied entry altogether. I have personally seen this happening to few people.
