us citizen and i want apply for a visitors visa for my mother who is a widow. She is in pakistan..few questions if you could help that be great..

What are the requirements in order to apply, the procedure, and aproximatly how long its going to take to get the visa after applying???? Please explain in detail..help would greatly be appriciated.

Please go to Webpage 'US embassy islamabad" . Google it. All the info is there.

Please be warned that mother of a US citizen and that too a widow, the likelihood of getting a visitor visa is very low. The reason is she is not likely to return in the eyes of Us embassy, as you can easily file a green card for her while she is in US and secondly she has no spousal tie to home country.

It is advised that you file a petition for her immigrant visa that way she can spend half a year in US and half in PAk.
