Visitor Visa British parent

Hello,

My mother holds British passport, n she is residing in India since last 55 years, she has PIO card now.She is 65 years old and a widow.

I am planning to call her on visitor visa to USA.

Is it okay for her to attend visitor visa interview for USA from Mumbai?

she should use her visa waiver privilege and ESTA instead of applying for a visa.
Widows can be denied a visa and once denied she won't be able to use her visa waiver privilege either.
