  • Not sure how to go about this

I want to apply for a visa to visit the US. The thing is I lived in the US for 16 years illegaly. This is due to the fact that my parents brought me to the US illegaly when I was little. Long story short, I moved to Mexico 2 years ago (was not deported, i went on my own) My parents still reside in the US and that worries me... I don't even know what to say when they ask me about my parents. I am studying engineering here in Mexico. I just want to visit the US again.

One last thing... My sister who has lived in Mexico all her life got a visa recently... She lied and said our parents are in Mexico to protect them. Will it show up in the system?

No idea what to say at the interview!

what will you say about your 16 years in US illegally? Will you lie? That is the most important factor.

have your parents got green cards or are they illegal?

you will never get a visitor visa because you stayed illegally. You should not apply.
Your parents will come under scrutiny too.
