  • Visa by US army help..

I would like to open a new thread so any related person can add his / her experience. Rest peace and ray are always there to answer best answers and suggestions.

My wife works as a Soldier in US army. Can she help my parents to get visa or write consulate to call mother in law if she is pregnant ? I have seen number of issues like consulate hardly provide visas to parents when son is resident or citizen. So our idea was they will join me if they can get B2 visa.

Looking forward your suggestions what steps should we take or my wife arranges any letter from higher authorities like commanders etc.

My wife is US citizen and she is gonna file immigration for me soon. But before we start any process I would like to know which step can give benefit to my parents.

if she can request to be posted abroad for at least a year, you can go for fast naturalization under section 319b right after receiving the green card.
For army spouses it is a fast process , you will be a US citizen in about 6 months after receiving the green card. And then you can sponsor your parents for their green cards.

Very few people qualify for this special section 319b, so if you can, make use of it.

          Dear Peace
Your email is like a hope in dark. I am really very happy to see your email and would like to thank you for this alot

You said very few few peoples qualify for this special section. Please evaluate if we qualify for this 319b ? She is a soldier in US Army not working as civilian and US citizen as well. If we qualify then green card procedure will be expedite as well or this 319b section only applies when a one resident.

          Awaiting for your reply.

Thank you once again and God bless you always

319b is only for naturalization after you get a green card. And the main criterion is that she will have to be posted abroad . Applying for naturalization under 319b, you will have to show that she is starting her posting abroad and that you are willing to live with her abroad for at least a year ( I think it is a year , please confirm).
