Taking family on tourist visa

I intend to appear for US VISA interview at american consulate chennai with my family of 4 adults and 2 children below 10 years . I intend to shedule the interview together. Whether the children are allowed to enter the consulate office or OFC office along with elders, since it appears their visa is to be applied after the parents got the visa. My question is, is the interview allowed for children along with parents together at one strech ?

Who told you that the children can apply after parents get their visas.It is not true.

Children should apply with their parents.
All applicants are allowed in whether they are children of any age.

Six of of our family members are applying for visitors visa (Sponsored by son). One of the children’s passport is yet to come, it may take another 3 weeks. In the meanwhile can other Five members of the family apply for DS 160 ?

2. Should we have to wait for child’s passport and then only apply for DS 160 of every body together ?

3. The family consists of Father, mother, son, daughter inlaw and two children. Since we are applying together, can all the 6 of us schedule for interview together ?

4. By chance, if VISA is rejected for son’s family, will the granting of visa considered for parents, in view of the fact that they have travelled to US earlier, of course everyone are applying visa For only two weeks of tourist visit.

5. If any questions are asked for mother, she will not be able to answer in English, can any one of us help her to answer ?
