Entry with Valid B1/B2 visa with H1B spouse
Hello,
I am having a H1B visa and planing to leave to India for H1B stamping. Will be getting married and my fiancé is currently holding a B1/B2 visa till March 2015. Because, of time limitation we cannot go for VISA interview at the same time. Would it be ok if she enters with me on B1/B2 visa and later gets it converted to either H4 or J1 (since her educational background is science), before B1/B2 visa expires? We are fine to go back and get a new stamp from India too, if the change of status is tricky. Will this condition will be a issue on port of entry or getting a new VISA later?
