Will Staying on valid I-94 but expired visitor visa be a problem?

Hello,

My mom's visitor visa expires in May 2015. She needs to travel to US during March 2015. Suppose the admitted-until date on I-94 is stamped as August 2015 (being optimistic), then can she stay until August 2015? Will staying based on the valid I-94 but expired visa, cause her to potentially face rejection when she re-applies for a visitor visa in future?

even if the authorized stay is beyond the visa expiry , it is perfectly ok. And on next application, they will only look at if she left during her authorized stay.
Visa expiry won't matter.
