I am currently pregnant and looking to invite my parents and sister to visit me and meet their grandchild/ niece or nephew. My husband is currently on H1 B visa and I am on H4. My mother is planning to arrive to visit us two weeks before my due date and stay for 3 months. My father and sister plan on visiting me 2 months after the baby is born and stay for 4 weeks. All three of them have applied together. My father is retired and 68 years old, my mother is a homemaker and my sister is 30 years old, unmarried and currently not employed or studying. Also, my parents intend on sponsoring themselves. In the invitation letter we have mentioned the reason to visit is to see their grandchild/ niece or nephew. Do you think we should mention my pregnancy in the invitation letter? If we don't mention my pregnancy how can I justify my mother visiting me for 3 months during the winter months from December onwards?

embassy trends change but usually they discourage visits for pregnancy or post partum ( delivery) care.
If you have mentioned the purpose as visiting niece/nephew they will clearly ask about pregnancy( or understand and not ask about it)
Mother traveling alone obviously means she is going for pregnancy care.
young sister , unemployed and not studying should not have applied as it is common knowledge they look for ties for young people( job, studies, spouse).
Now that you have applied, there is nothing much anyone can do. You should have posted before they applied. And they should have applied
away from your pregnancy situation.
Invitation letter should be taken to the interview but usually is not looked at.
They will decide mainly on the basis of the form DS160 info you have completed and some interview questions.

Even though my parents and sister are going together for the interview do you think if my sister was to get refused there is possibility that my parents could still be given a visa? I feel my parents stand a good chance of getting the visa as my parents have traveled before to Europe and in Asia, they own multiple properties in India and my father is ex-government employee.
Is there anything that I can do to help my parents in getting the visa?

Like I said, an invitation letter will most likely not be read at all. What is typed on the DS 160 form is more important. Still, you can change the invitation letter purpose to "visiting daughter".
you should not worry about parents getting denied because of your sister. It happens very often that some members of the family are denied and others are granted.
And even your sister could be successful if she gets a very lenient officer ( but in my opinion, she has a slim chance).
And if they ask about your pregnancy your parents should not lie.
Secondly, your mother traveling alone is bothersome. If you could resubmit the form and show everyone traveling together that would be much better.
