Sending Documents to India

When is the best time to send all the required documents for the interview. My In-laws has an interview in 22nd Dec 2005 @ Calcutta Consulate. Can I send all the required documents now or is there any timeline for that ? I have to ask my employer to send the EVL. Have not done that yet. When should be the best time to get the EVL.

Any help will be appreciated.

You can do it now or any time before the interview.

I would say send the documents probably close to the interview date (not too close), so that you will have the latest documents. Ofcourse make sure the documents reach in time for the interview

Thanks for your reply. If I ask my employer to provide the EVL then the date on that letter s/b any date in this week, depends on when the send me the letter. The interview is on 22nd Dec 2005. If the letter dated in this week then that will be more than a month before they go for the interview. Is it okay to get the EVL now or should I have to wait for the 1st week of dec. Is their any timeline for the documents which I have to sent.

It is ok to have the employer letter dated within even 3-4 months. Don't worry.
