B2 Visa for parent when son's H1B is not yet stamped

Hi,
I came to USA to do my Masters. I got a job during my OPT and later the same company applied for my H1B. My H1B got approved and am travelling back to India to get my H1B stamping. Alongside, I would like to get a B2 visa for my mom. I would like to know if I can schedule an appointment for my mom for B2 visa on the same day that I am going for my H1B visa interview. When my mom attends the B2 visa interview, I will not be having a H1B Visa stamp yet in my passport. Is this going to be an issue?
Please advice.

1. You can schedule it on the same day if available, but it would be two separate appointments.
2. That is not a problem.
