Does Showing liabilities in India prove strong ties?

Hi,

I have a question regarding my parents' visitor visa.

My father has some assets and debts in India. Does it help to show the liabilities? Or is it detrimental to show liabilities?

Will it be considered as a reason to migrate to US? Or be considered as strong ties to India?
