Hi Everyone,
I want to get your valuable input on a unique situation that I am having when trying to get either my parents or my in-laws to US just in-time for my wife's delivery date ( Feb 2006)
So in July 2005 I booked two slots for my in-laws attending the Chennai consulate Dec 17th and the following week which is Dec 29th for my parents and I put myself as my sponsor for both of them, and I did this because it was taking more than six months time to get the appointment and more over there is no way I can predict the outcome.
And in the I134 form for the sponsor it says to give details if I have sponsored anyone before, so for my parents do I have to say that I sponsored my in-laws a week ago?
And also is it advisable to have these two couples go back-to-back, I know for sure when they pull my record they will see that I made two appointments for visitor VISA’s.
Or do I need to go with only one couple at a time and get appointment for the other couple later. My father is currently employed and has 5 years of govt service left whereas my in-laws are retired which will give my parents an edge over my in-laws I believe.
So I am kind of stuck and unable to decide what to do? Please provide your valuable input.
Thanks,
Ramki
