  • Visitor visa for Parents and brother

I am applying visitor visa for my parents and elder brother and here are my questions -

    1) My parents are retired Govt employees
    2) My brother has his own startup company and is married with 1 child

    Questions:
    1) My sister in law and their child will not be travelling now, so only my brother and my parents will be travelling. So should I sponsor their visa together or different?
    2) My parents can self fund and my brother can also self fund. Is it advisible to self fund or I sponsor them? IF I have to sponsor 3 of them, then how much money should I be showing in my US account?

for self funding your bro will need to have good income like Rs. 10-12 L/yr. If it is less than that I suggest you sponsor.
Same for retired parents, they should be able to show strong savings like 15-20 L or you can sponsor.
At the interview, they mostly ask for the sponsor's income proof like pay stub or tax return. $ 50k /yr and above is fine.

      Thanks for your reply.

Can I make a mix of I sponsoring my parents and my brother self sponsored?

also, should all the applications be together or should I book for my parents first and then next day for my brother?

should apply together if traveling together. Applying like you suggested ( on close-by days)should never be done.
Sponsorship mixing may or may not work,; it is best to go with either self funding for all or sponsorship for all .

If your bro can self fund, can't he show funding for his parents as well? What is his income?

you don't need to sponsor. just send an invite, a copy of your visa .
Bro's income is good enough to fund all three. and self funding is always better than sponsorship.

Even if you are not sponsoring , sometimes they can ask for proof of your work ( pay stub) so send that too.
