Good morning all, im new to this so im very nervous.
i travelled to america the last 2 times on my esta visa. But however i booked a ticket last week to travel again amd i checked in and once i got to the gate to board i was stopped by a us official stating he was going to deny me travel at this time. When i asked why he stated due to me overstaying 10 years ago i would not be able to travel. But my query is how was i able to obtain a esta visa authorization and be able to travel 2 times on it?? And my other point is when i over stayed this was due to my parents investing in a business and i was a minor of only 15 years of age so i really had no option but to go where they went. The official said if i wish to travel in the future i would require a visa for tourist. Im reall confused about what i need to apply for and if there is any point if i will get rejected? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.
