Spelling mistake in my mother's Name in my Passport

In my passport, there is a spelling mistake in my mother's name. I want to bring her to US through Vistor's visa. Will it be a problem, if I do not change her name in my passport? Her passport has the correct name. Any one came across this situation? Please let me know.
