Hi,

I need to sponsor my in-laws for a visit. My visa is scheduled to expire shorthly. My company has applied for an extension using I-129 (L1 visa). The receipt notice from USCIS has been lost in transit. How could I provide proof of validity of my visa if I do not get the receipt?

Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

As far as I know.....in case of expiry they do not accept reciept notice, they accept approved notice of action (I hope didn't mean the same) as your valid status.

I just received my I-797C (after more than a month). Would this be enough for me to sponsor my in-laws for a visit visa or do I have to await a formal extension approval?
