Parents Visitor Visa

I am planning to call my parents in summer to USA, I am their daughter, my dad has retired and mom is a housewife, but they belong to religious and social groups. Can that be mentioned in the affidavit?
Also all our family members are in India, further my mom is undergoing follow up visits for her treatment in India, can these be included in affidavit to ensure that they will return to India and will not stay here for long. Look forward to suggestions from you all.

One more Q...
I came only in beginning of 2005, so my tax return has not been filed. I saw the website and it mentions that "written explanation why tax return was not filed" needs to be given. Is there a sample document for this?
Other than this, the site has been really helpful to complete the forms and everyone tells to refer to this site !!
