Can my parents come back to US after staying almost 6 months in the same year?

Hello,

My parents(B1/B2) stayed in US almost 6 months at a stretch and about to leave.
Can they come back after 1 month in the same financial year?

I know at a stretch nobody can stay more than 6 months on B1/B2 visa but if they go back to India and come back to US after 1 month , can they stay another 6 months in US?

Please suggest.

Re-entry after after short departures from the US does not look like a visitor. While there is no set "cool off period", if it appears you are using the visa as a means of "living" in the US, Homeland Security might deny entry.
