Question regarding Parents Interview - help needed

Hello,

My parents appeared for Visitor visa interview in May 2005. Father is retired and mom was shown housewife. They have been refused due to 214(b).

In the form, by mistake we have put mom as housewife however she was working and thought it does not matter much as getting another date was almsot 2-3 months later.

Now, I need yr EXPERT help. If in next interview, I show my MOM as working . What is the best explanation / clarification shd be given to satisffy CO. We have tax and other supporting docs fro my mom.

Can we say..honestly..it was mistake or something more appropriate.

I am only son and my married sister lives in India.

Pls. help with answers. Thanks in advance.

I donno if showing your mom as working will help you get the visa coz I heard at one of the threads that someone's visa was rejected irrespective of both the parents working.

Try to show your sisters, her kids and family as a strong tie to India.

Thanks for reply. Any other solid suggestion to avoid any cross questioing from CO. I am simply looking for solid reply.

My mom can provide all proofs of her job.
