  • Parents- self sponsor

Hi,My husband is on H1 B since last 1 and half years and am on H4 since 1 year. My parents are scheduled to attend the B2 visitor visa interview next week. In the DS-160 form, we have given the details as my father self sponsoring himself while my mother being sponsored by my father. Both of them have enough funds to take of themselves as both are still working. Their visa interview is scheduled for same date and time(we did not think of the consequences when setting up the appointment time).Interview is scheduled seperately for them with 2 forms.

1.Does my mother have to carry original sponsor documents from my dad? If so, how will my dad manage to attend his interview with his documents.
2.Can my mother now say in the interview that she would like to self sponsor. She has enough documentation to suggest she has funds to self sponsor.

Any help will be greatly appreciated at the earliest since their interview is scheduled after 5 days.

    Thanks.

As long as they can show that they have enough funds to take care of the trip, that is enough. You don't need two sets of documents.
